Naples Senior Center is on a fundraising roll.
The nonprofit organization that provides an array of services to seniors has received a $2 million gift from the Brookdale Foundation Group for a new and larger building.
The dementia respite program at the new center will be named the Brookdale Respite Program, the center announced.
The gift comes on the heels of a Jan. 12 gala where Jaclynn Faffer, president and chief executive officer of the center, announced a $15 million fundraising goal to build a new center to accommodate the growth of members and programs. The Naples Senior Center opened in 2014.
